I might not know tons about cars, but I find them fascinating. I love learning about all the different features and what goes into each car. Timing couldn’t be better because World of Speed just opened in Wilsonville, Oregon not even a month before we traveled to Mt Hood. We made a quick stop in before a bike tour we were about to take and ended up spending much more time there than expected. Through interactive exhibits and hands on activities, World of Speed brought an even more exciting adventure to all of the cars they had on display. No matter what type of car you love, they had it.
They had an area that you could ‘drive’ different types of cars in a fun car simulator. If we had more time, I would have loved to jump in and test my speed racer skills.
Before leaving, Quinn and I jumped on a fun interactive game to test our coordination. To play, you pressed a button to start the game and a yellow light would appear. Without notice, the green light would turn on and you would want to press the gas pedal as fast as possible.
We tried to get a speed of 0.0. We both came pretty close but neither of us was able to get a perfect score. Since we had another event scheduled after this, we didn’t have as much time as we hoped. There was so much to see and do at World of Speed. All ages would love this Museum and enjoy it. Before leaving, we spotted an amazing license plate koozie that we had to buy and take home as a souvenir. It’s pretty amazing, right?
