We’re on a mission at my house to eat healthier. That doesn’t mean that we have to give up all the good home cooked food, but mainly to make better choices. Maybe instead of eating rice with our meal, we eat quinoa or maybe instead of eating ice cream for dessert we eat yogurt. It’s the small changes that make the difference. If I were to change our diet completely, we would both be miserable and probably cheat on the diet.
We still want to eat delicious food, so I’ve been experimenting with ingredients. One of our favorite snacks to eat is Skinnygirl Hummus. The hummus is made with non-fat Greek yogurt, it’s reduced calorie, all-natural, gluten-free and kosher! By the taste of it, you would never know! Finding products like this are my favorite, because Quinn doesn’t have a clue he is even eating healthy.
Tonight, I made a Skinnygirl Hummus pizza and everybody loved it! I thought I would just make it for a snack, but it turned in to being our dinner. I bought the pre-made dough found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.
The dough required to be pre-baked so I cooked it for 5 minutes on 400 degrees. Once it was cooked, I spread a large amount of Skinnygirl Hummus. We chose the roasted red pepper flavor which was perfect because it was full of flavor.

Tonight I made “healthy” pizza with hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta and onions. Delicious!
