I struggle all year long trying to find the perfect gift for my husband. He has everything he could possibly want and anytime he wants something, he goes and buys it which makes buying gifts for him very difficult. This year for Christmas, I wanted to get him something perfect. When the opportunity arose for me to get him a pair of Allen Edmonds Lace Up Oxford Shoes, I knew it would not only fit his style but he would love them.
So let me preface this story… I couldn’t wait until Christmas to give them to him. They are just too awesome and since we have so many events and parties during the Holiday season, I wanted him to be able to use them asap. I let him open the box when they arrived and I haven’t seen him so excited in a very long time. It was 8am and he was walking around in his new shoes with his pajamas still on. I had to finally tell him to take them off so I could take pictures and tell the whole world about them.
Want to know how much he loved them? He let me do a style shoot with him! (File that under – Things I Thought Would Never Happen.)
I might be a little obsessed with his shoes. They had some great features that I couldn’t pass up.
- Leather sole men’s lace-up oxford dress shoes
- Cap-toe balmoral with perforated brogue styling
- Lined premium calfskin leather upper
- Part of the Timeless Classics Collection of premium men’s shoes
- Single oak leather sole
- 360 degree Goodyear welted construction
- Manufactured on the welted 65 Last
- Made in the USA
One of the biggest factors of me choosing these shoes for him was that he could wear them with casual outfits or with his nicest outfits. He works from home so wearing work attire isn’t needed each day but now he has a great pair of shoes that will last him a lifetime. Allen Edmonds offers a large variety of men’s dress shoes, as well as very nice clothes that will last. I might have spoiled him a bit because I know he’ll be wanting everything from Allen Edmonds now but it’s worth it. Shoes can change the whole look of an outfit, why not make an impression?
